Artists Statement

My current work is based on Imperfect, Incomplete and Impermanence. My sympathy for worn and degrading surfaces and left and forgotten objects is reflected in the organic feel of the form inspired by rotting vegetation and the crazing crater glaze inspired by flaking paint. It is my creation of something beautifully organic yet unlike reality, ironically permanent.
